What sort of quality standards should I look for
in a retractable awning?
 Retractable
awnings vary greatly in their design, manufacturing, attention to quality and
overall strength and functionality. The higher the quality, the longer the life
and overall enjoyment you can expect from your awning.
While there are no US standards for awning
quality control,
Eclipse Awnings adhere to the widely used European guidelines. Such as the
DIN* guidelines for raw materials and components. For finished product Eclipse
Awnings follow the German TUV guidelines.
In fact all of the Eclipse products meet with
demanding European norms for control and ISO 9001 standards are followed at all
stages of component production. (Deutsches Institut fur Normung) (TUV is an
international service group, which documents the safety and quality of products,

What about awning installation and service?
Our factory trained technicians install and
service what we sell. We do not subcontract installation or service of our
products. This assures you thorough, professional installation of your
awning system.
Are you insured?
We are fully insured by a major insurance company
and carry $2,000,000 liability and full workman’s compensation coverage.
Insurance certificates are available upon request. We provide the necessary
protection, which you would not receive from uninsured companies or their
subcontractors.
Do you have a show room?
Yes we do. We have a lot of our products installed
in our show room. Since we are constantly in and out of the office, we do highly
recommend that you call first to assure that there will be someone there to meet
address your needs.
